Battambong(พระตะบอง) with stamps tied Battambong transit CDS dated 19th March 1892 twice and the same third strike on reverse, 3. French Cambodian Post Office Pursat(โพธิสัตว์) transit CDS dated '3rd Avril' or 3 April 1892 on reverse, 4. Pnumpenh(พนมเปน) CDS dated '14th Avril' or 14 April 1892 and 5. Saigon-Central(ไซง่อน) CDS dated'17th Avril' or 17 April 1892 with 6. Paris CDS dated 20 May 1892 and 7. Reims arrival CDS dated 'Mai 21st' or 21 May 1892. When this cover was posted in March 1892. The cover was carried for a month by land and river routing transport from Sisophon to Pnom-Penh before being put on one of the Mekong river steamer to Saigon. A very early Registered cover bearing Siamese stamps from the Siamese Post Office occupied in Cambodia. Cover open 3 sides in fresh and fine condition. A historical and political significant item.
